Katrina Mottee leads the commercial and legal team at Huntsman Security.

Katrina is a senior legal professional with a strong commercial focus and extensive experience in commercial and technology law, software licensing, data protection and a broad range of compliance matters.

Katrina is responsible for supporting Huntsman Security’s CEO and business unit heads to progress the company’s commercial position and for ensuring the company meets its legal and regulatory obligations. She advises on commercial strategy and risk management, manages end to end software licensing and technology contract negotiations, along with management of all legal and compliance issues.

Katrina’s 25 years’ experience as a qualified lawyer has included senior roles at IBM Australia where she oversaw and managed complex national and international contract negotiations and disputes, and handled regulatory and compliance issues. Previously, Katrina worked at London law firm BCL Solicitors LLP, where she provided advice and representation in large business crime, fraud and regulatory matters.

This experience gives Katrina a unique insight into the world of security and compliance, and what can happen commercially and legally when breaches occur.
